YUGA LABS

THE ASK
In anticipation of their 2023 headlining game Legends of the Mara (LoTM) and its tie-in NFT collection, Yuga Labs needed to share the game details and name the NFTs. Quick.

THE ANSWER
After noticing some inconsistencies across assets, I brought stakeholders together to true up everything. Then I wrote the game guide, walkthrough videos, and expansive FAQ. I also named hundreds of NFT traits.

THE IMPACT
We got the Web3 community buzzing by releasing everything a few weeks before the game launch. To date, the most expensive NFT in the LoTM collection is worth $734,212.

We based the script off of my game guide copy, then I edited it down for length.

In Web3, an FAQ isn’t just a series of questions and answers. It’s where people who are spending (hundreds of) thousands of dollars go to get essential information about their digital assets—and still have a good time.

Of the 65+ Qs and As that I wrote for LoTM, here are a few of my favorite in the brand’s slightly cheeky, dry tone of voice.
